OUR STORY
Southwest Air Compressor Sales & Services started with two people who have called the Four Corners home for most of their lives.
Chuck and Catalina met in high school and became sweethearts. Catalina had moved with her family from Chihuahua, Mexico, to Farmington when she was six. Chuck was born in Montana and spent parts of his childhood in Toledo, OH, Show Low, AZ, and Farmington before putting down roots for good.
Chuck's career has been a long lesson in what it takes to keep things moving. He started as a truck driver, hauling bulk products across the country and working in oil and gas. Over the years, he worked his way through dispatch, logistics, sales, marketing, and business development, eventually becoming Director of Logistics for North America at Western Refining.
Later, he joined a smaller trucking company as its Vice President and COO. Over the next decade, he helped grow it from a 50-truck operation into a company with more than 300 trucks and nearly $100 million in annual revenue.
Through all of it, one lesson kept coming back:
Take care of your people, your customers and your team, and everything else has a way of working itself out.
After more than 40 years in the blue-collar world, Chuck knows what it means when equipment stops working. He knows the long drives, the hard jobs, the tight schedules, and the cost of downtime. And after a lifetime in the Four Corners, he knows the people who do that work.
That's why Southwest Air Compressor Sales & Services was built here.
We're here to provide the kind of service we believe this community deserves: knowledgeable, dependable, personal, and willing to go the extra mile—whether that means heading to Cuba, climbing the roads to Silverton, traveling to Tuba City, or showing up at a ranch, mine, shop, or job site somewhere in between.
